Quality assurance
Apple Transcription Ltd endeavours to accurately transcribe all audio recordings. Anything which is indiscernible or inaudible is highlighted within the document [italicised and in square brackets] and brought to the attention of the client upon notification of completion of the work.
All queries are immediately flagged to the originator to avoid errors.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, including power or equipment failure, fire, strikes etc, the Apple Transcription team will work closely with their clients to achieve minimal impact and continuity of service, but will be entitled to delay or suspend their service without penalty.
Security
Our secure online system, which was developed in response to our clients’ requirements for a secure, easy-to-use systematic application to manage their outsourced transcription is located in one of the most secure data centres in the country.
A number of additional steps have been taken to secure the system and the data contained therein. These include:

A dedicated hardware firewall to increase security and reduce threats from viruses. |

A signed server certificate guaranteeing 128bit encryption using the HTTPS protocol. |

Numerous backup mechanisms, including database and full system backups – on and off site – to ensure user data is protected against loss or theft. |
