Apple Transcription has substantial experience of transcribing:

for a variety of clients, working from a variety of formats, including audio tape, digital sound files, CD, video and DVD.
Digital sound files can be uploaded onto our secure website.
Completed transcripts are provided as MS Word documents, in a style agreed with the client, and can be downloaded from our secure website, emailed or sent by fax/post etc.
Transcripts are charged at a "per recorded minute" rate so that clients know exactly what the total cost will be before the work is commenced. We charge only for the minutes recorded – there is no set up cost. Rates start at £1.30 per recorded minute

The main options are:
Verbatim
This includes everything said by both/all speakers, including, for example, "um", "er", "you know", hesitation (eg "He… he… I’m not sure") and sounds such as [laughs] and [coughs].
Intelligent Verbatim
This includes everything said by both/all speakers, but excludes "um", "er", "you know", etc, hesitation and sounds such as [laughs] and [coughs].
If you require any variation on the above – for example, you may require the interviewee to be transcribed verbatim and the interviewer to be transcribed intelligent verbatim – please let us know and we will be happy to assist.
