Court transcription

In February 2007 Apple Transcription became a member of the Tape Transcription Panel authorised by the Ministry of Justice (formerly the Department for Constitutional Affairs) to transcribe High Court and County Court proceedings in England and Wales.
To request a transcript of a court hearing a form EX107 should be completed and forwarded to the court. This authorises the court to release the recordings to us. Please fax/post/email a copy of the form to us also so that we can liaise with the court to ensure that we meet your deadlines for returning the completed transcript.
The standard turnaround time for completing transcripts is 5-10 working days from receipt of tape. An expedited service is also available (for a 20% premium) whereby transcripts can be completed within 48 hours of receipt of tapes.
Please note that in the case of judgments, the court must approve the transcript before we are able to release it to the client. We aim to amend and release the approved version on the day of receipt from the court.
Clients may, if they wish, follow the progress of any orders by logging onto our secure online system.
